It is exactly as advertised. It makes a perfect go-bag for when the stuff hits the fan. There is enough room left over to add personalized items. I am very satisfied with it.

It is a good feeling to be prepared in a world of uncertainties. I definitely recommend others to follow and purchase this backpack😉

It is what I was expecting. WELL almost I thought I was getting a water pouch with an extending hose but it was a small packaged water.

I bought red bag version at Costco for $49.99. (Close out). Food is Wise company (USA). Total calories are 4960; total water is 21 ounces. Bag is made in China and serviceable. Four empty compartments allowed me to add 33 ounces of water and 30 Be Kind/Zone bars. I replaced the cheap Chinese collapsible stove and four hexamine tablets (one tab heated 12 oz of water only ton180 degrees) with a USA Emberlit stove (takes twigs) and Snowpeak Gigapower (3.75 oz) stove with 8oz MSSR Isopro fuel. I added chunk of fat wood, more matches, magnesium strike bar, Swiss knife, lint packets and homemade paper/paraffin pellets. Also added two Sea to Summit Deltaplates and 3 piece metal utensil, one spork and GSI nested light pots. I kept the red version of this pack because of lower cost, it was expandable and food is decent quality per online reviews. You need more additional water just to cook the meals. Wish I had the camo version.

This is a great gift with plenty of room to add more gear. I gave this to my daughter to put in her car in case of emergency. MY next purchase will be the 2-person bug out bag for my wife and I. At least I know my daughter has survival gear in her vehicle, especially living in S. CA.

For the price you get a well made and stocked pack pack. Not made in China. 5 stars.
